With a nod to her time spent in the South and respecting her mother's French heritage, our founder has curated enhancements to your Maritime Massage experience. The French have a word for this: "lagniappe." Pronounced "lawn-yahp," this Cajun-French noun means “a little extra" and is used to describe something good, something extra, and sometimes, even something received for free.

CBD

CBD Addon

We researched and tried many CBD balms but found ourselves returning to Fox Island Trading Company's (FITCO) incomparable CBD products. Made with beeswax from their own apiary right here in the Puget Sound, FITCO's CBD balm helps with muscle, joint, and nerve pain. Concentrated natural ingredients-full of raw vitamins and minerals in the product's base-allows swift, deep penetration of the lipid barrier, resulting in rapid absorption and faster pain relief. Removing the THC and making the base from fats, allows rapid intake of the CBD instead of the trickle down effect obtained from other lotions on the market. During the extraction process, everything is removed or filtered from the plant except for the active ingredient. This substantially increases FITCO's CBD potency by 3x that found in competitors' products. And, unlike other CBD products, FITCO's CBD balms are third-party lab tested for purity, ensuring they are safe for external use.

Superior CBD concentration levels, organic, and cruelty-free testing and manufacturing processes made this a no-brainer choice for massage treatment enhancement at Maritime Massage.

Please visit our website for detailed information regarding the benefits of CBD and a complete ingredient list for this local stand-out product. We're certain you'll be as impressed as we are with this CDB balm.

Concentrate Base Ingredients: Cocoa, shea, mango butter, coconut oil, soy esters, arnica Montana, beeswax, eucalyptus, chamomile, peppermint, third-party tested isolate pure CBD, Rosemary, Devils Club, Devils Claw, Wild Lettuce, California Poppy, and White Willow Bark.

Sport Deep Penetrating Ingredients: Cocoa butter, Eucalyptus, Chamomile, Peppermint, Menthol crystals (cooling effect), Capsacian (warming effect & pain relief), arnica Montana, Rosemary, Cinnamon, Copaiba, and beeswax from our very own apiaries. For best results, we recommend applying your balm before you go to bed at night as well as when you first wake up. This helps target inflammation that accumulates overnight.

Zen Bodywork

Zen BodyTherapy $130.00

Zen BodyTherapy is a comprehensive form of bodywork that combines energy, structure, and function. Founded by William “Dub” S. Leigh, Zen BodyTherapy is based on Wilhelm Reich's theory of “armoring.” Reich, a student of Sigmund Freud, found that the unconscious mind was in the tissue of the body. Zen BodyTherapy is a system of bodywork and somatic education whose goals are to align and balance the structure, function, and energy of the body.

Kinesiotaping, aka KT and Kinesiology Taping $40

Kinesiotaping is a versatile add-on service using a thin, flexible tape to support muscles and joints, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve athletic performance by promoting comfortable movement and support through elasticity. The tape is left on for a minimum of 24 hours and can be easily removed within 72 hours, aiding in the body's natural healing process by separating the skin from the underlying fascia and increasing lymphatic flow. A great extra for athletes and expecting mothers, this can be added to any massage service. At this time, we do not offer this as a stand-alone service.
