Discover Maritime Massage's expertise in varied therapeutic techniques and commitment to tailored, patient-focused treatments. Nora graduated with honors from the University of Washington in 2000. After a 25-year civilian career with the US Navy, she attended massage school at the prestigious Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics located in Tacoma, Washington. Alexandar students are known for their holistic and eclectic treatment approach to massage therapy and bodywork, incorporating various modalities into their treatment sessions to customize each client's treatment plan and massage experience to that individual's unique needs and goals. Upon completion of her studies at Alexandar's, Nora worked at the school in a variety of positions from licensed massage therapist in the school's treatment clinic to student advisor and co-instructor, teaching Spa with Aliesha Alexandar.
Nora holds certifications from the International Zen Bodywork Institute in both Triggerpoint Anatomy and Zen BodyTherapy as well as certification in manual lymphatic drainage and is a Reiki Master Practitioner.
When not helping others live their best lives, Nora enjoys spending time with her family and two Labrador Retrievers, Love and Faith.
